Yesterday Dennis and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. It felt strange being at home since the last four anniversaries we have always been on vacation. I will have to say that this one was by far the best. It felt so nice to just relax and enjoy each other. Parker spent the night at my moms and we took off for a very nice dinner downtown and then to home to drink plenty of wine...Yummy! The weather was just like the day we got married in the 100's (who would have thought in June) and we even got to see the naked bicyclists (gotta love Portland...keep Portland weird). Overall, it was just nice to celebrate us.

Exercauser Man!
We have borrowed the exercauser from Angela and Parker loves it. He is still just a little to small for it. But spends large amounts of time just looking and talking to all of the toys. The other day he was even pushing the buttons all by himself! I proud moment for Mommy:)

Hereditary or Coincidence???
When I was a little girl I used to suck on my two fingers. Parker has also discovered his love for his two fingers and sucks on them constantly. Many times he will try to put them in his mouth as he is eating from his bottle or spits out his pacifier to replace them with his fingers. Is this hereditary or just a coincidence? Either way I find great joy in watching him enjoy them as much as I remember enjoying those fingers.

Day at the Lake
Yesterday, we kicked off the first day of summer by spending it at the lake. The weather was perfect and it was one of the first days that actually felt like summer. Parker enjoyed just hanging out in his crab and hopes that next time the water will be a little warmer. Everyone had a good time and we can't wait for the next one in July!

Happy Late Father's Day!
Happy father's day to Dennis. He is a wonderful father to Parker and an even more amazing husband for putting up with my "princess" attitude. He is such a great dad and husband he even got to take care of both us sickies on father's day. We still did manage to make it to my grandma's house for father's day dinner, but it was very short. Thanks Boon for all that you do for our family....we love you lots!

Baby Boot Camp....
Today I went to the first class of Baby Boot Camp and loved it! It is just what I need to get me motivated and back into shape. I feel like I had a good work out (75 minutes) and was surprised at what I could still do. I plan on going every Tuesday and Thursday morning and spending Saturday morning going for a walk/jog/run on my own. I hope this helps me drop the 1-2 pant sizes that I need to get back into my clothes in my closet.
